Kambui Olujimi

Kambui Olujimi was born and raised in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. He has been exhibited nationally and internationally at spaces including the Museum of Modern Art, New York; The Smithsonian Institute, Washington, D.C.; Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art, Helsinki; and Zacheta National Gallery of Art, Poland. He has lectured at a variety of institutions including the Goethe Institute Accra Ghana, Tisch School of the Arts, and the Whitney Museum of American Art.

Kambui participated in apexart’s Outbound Residency in Kellerberrin, Australia, from September 1 - 28, 2007. He was recommended by Tumelo Mosaka, Associate Curator at the Brooklyn Museum. Visit his Resident Page for more information.
