day 2
Wasn’t able to sleep the first night despite extreme exhaustion from the very long travel. Feeling sick. Had to literally drag myself to the shower. I had to make it to the 12:00nn boat ride at the Circle Line Tour. Locating the place was already an adventure.
The cruise down the hudson up to the east river gives an awesome sight of the grandeur of mid and lower manhattan. You will see the architectural growth of the city, the skyscrapers, the statue of liberty that i only see in movies and on tv. And going under the Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges was absolutely breathtaking! I was fortunate to be able to take some good shots. My hands were shivering and simply pressing the button was a herculean task.
All worth it! It was a sureal and mindblowing experience despite the freezing temperature!
And then i had to go back to being sick again making me miss my evening valentine date:)
